🔬 Scientific Outreach: Empowering Hands-On Discovery for All

At EduWell Foundation, we believe every child deserves hands-on scientific experiences. Our innovative outreach program recycles discarded laboratory equipment, giving it new life as essential tools for home labs, classrooms, and community science centers. By repurposing unused scientific instruments, we bring meaningful, interactive science education directly to children everywhere.

Our Mission: Sustainability Meets Scientific Curiosity

We strive to bridge resource gaps by making quality scientific exploration accessible to every child, regardless of location or economic background. Our approach encourages environmental responsibility and educational equity by transforming discarded lab equipment into valuable educational resources.

Spotlight Project: Small World Club & the Microscope Initiative

One outstanding example is our Small World Club, whose members borrowed an unused microscope previously retired from a UCLA research lab. Instead of collecting dust, this microscope became central to the club’s exploration of the microscopic universe:

  • Hands-On Science: Children used the microscope to explore everyday objects—fruits, vegetables, flowers—and discovered amazing hidden worlds.
  • Inspiring Creativity: Microscopic images inspired unique artwork, books, and merchandise, demonstrating science in a captivating and creative way.
  • Educational Impact: The club’s published book, Art Under the Microscope, reached children locally and globally, making complex science accessible and fascinating.

How the Outreach Works:

♻️ Collect and Repurpose: We partner with universities and labs, collecting unused or retired equipment under safety protocols.

🏫 Equip Communities: Refurbished instruments are provided to schools, community centers, and student clubs, enriching scientific learning.

Sustainability Education: Students learn firsthand the importance of recycling, sustainability, and responsible use of resources.

Join Our Movement!

Bringing science to communities—one piece of recycled lab equipment at a time!

Inspired by our Small World Club, which safely repurposed an unused microscope from UCLA, we encourage students to ask professors about recycling unwanted lab equipment under safety protocols. Together, we can inspire curiosity and innovation!🌍🔬✨
